Mechani-Kon in-store/online registrations are now closed. The early closing of registrations is because we're (almost) SOLD OUT for the event. Aside from a few slots that are being left open for those who show up in-person, the 40k tournament is now booked.
We encourage people who are interested in the Warmachine/Hordes tournament and Open Gaming to show up and pay at the door, as have an ample number of slots open for these events. As for the 40k tournament, the remaining slots will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Thanks again to everyone who has signed up. This is shaping up to be the best event we've run so far!

Mechani-Kon 3 is quickly approaching!
Thanks to the support of all local 40k players, we've received a huge influx of players in recent and have almost sold out of slots for our event. Right now we only have about 6 spots left before we're forced to turn people away, so please, register now!
In anticipation for the upcoming event, we're posting eight 'potential' scenarios for Mechani-Kon 3. This will give players the chance to see what sort of missions they can expect to see at the event. As always, army lists are due the morning of the tournament, so feel free to look through these missions and make necessary adjustments to your list. It is our intent to use 4 of these 8 scenarios at the actual event (with some potential minor changes).
So please go and download our playtest scenarions: HERE

Mechani-Kon 3 is proud to announce that we’ll be hosting a second side tournament for Warmachine / Hordes this year!
Entry to the event will be $10, with sign ups available soon at Imagine Games & Hobbies, as well as online. Alternatively, feel free to show up at the door, but be warned that there might not be space!
The event itself will be a 35 point Steamroller tournament starting at 11am with prizes (to be announced) and quality terrain. The event is scheduled to begin at 11am, but feel free to show up earlier and look at some of the 40k tournament action, or get in a quick game at the open gaming tables.
Note that you cannot show with bare metal or primed only models for this event.
For more information on this, please contact the local Privateer Press Ganger, Michael Haire.

Hello everyone!
We're happy to formally announce Mechani-Kon 3 will be taking place on Saturday October 8th, 2011.
Once again, the event will be taking place at the lovely R.A. Steen Community Center located in the lovely Wolseley region of the city. The Community Center was a big hit last year based on all the feedback we received, and the staff were enthused to have our event return again this year.
Registrations are also open (see our registration page).
This year we'll be having a month of pre-reg time in order to give those who sign up early a bit of a discount. For now registration will be handled through PayPal, but be on the lookout for local gaming stores who will be taking registration. We'll also be organizing a few 'meet up' dates where we'll stop by your favorite gaming stores to collect registration in person!
Keep in mind that registering early helps the event by funding extra terrain and other projects that occur before the event. In other words; the more pre-regs we get, the better we can budget out new tables, trophies, and prizes!
Hope to see everyone out for another fun day of gaming!
